Qtopia

Trolletch 正式將Qt/Embedded更名為Qtopia Core，在Qtopia.net發佈的新聞稿[Trolltech Expands Qtopia Embedded Technology Products with Qtopia Core]證實這項訊息。Qtopia 是基於Qt 4為基礎的Embedded System版本，主要有三個產品，Qtopia Core、Qtopia PDA和Qtopia Phone，現在已經有應用Qtopia的產品問世，Nokia,SonyErrison等大廠都是其客戶，最近手邊剛下載了for GPL 的Qtopia Core 4.2版本的，最近會拿來測試看看，從Buttom Up方式打造一個Linux 環境的Embedded System。software stack如下圖

Sony busts out flexible color OLED screen prototype

Sony展出的一款可任意變換各種顏色的Flat OLED Screen技術，可預見的是，這是下一代薄型螢幕的開端。對設計師而言，薄型顯示不再是想像的概念，而是一新設計領域的開端。
