Green Design, 東京設計展!

設計界近幾年來環保意識抬頭,許多設計都開始考慮到環保與回收的概念,下面是東京設計展所展示的葬儀用品設計,也滿可愛的! (refered from designboom website)




l: 'the journey earthurn' is a biodegradable urn made from paper.r: 'oneearth australia coffin' is manufactures from 100% recycled cardboard and non-toxic paints.it seems that in the continual push to be environmentally friendly, no product is safe from being made more 'green'. funeral practices are the latest thing to get a green make-over. here are some unique urns and coffins that make an attempt to help reduce the environmental impact of the funeral industry.





l: 'compakta coffin' is made from recycled paper and wood pulp. it uses no fasteners, natural glues and cotton handles.r: 'the arka ecopod' is a coffin made from compressed newspaper.

Usability

metaphys is a japanese design group producing a variety of household objects under the direction and designedby chiaki murata. they presented their current range of products at this years 100% design tokyo during tokyodesigners week.

the bathtub out of the dockyard - these bathtubs are designed and crafted by markus farner. he is using finest woods and techniques out of tradition bootbuilding.
